- 2001 Roll out of WeRoam, a trademark of Comfone, specialising in wholesale mobility management and roaming solutions
- 2004 Introduction of Comfone Key2roam Roaming Hub providing mobile operators with worldwide roaming coverage, interconnection and clearing
- 2006 Agreement signed to provide data services to mobile operators in India
- 2007 Go-Live of China Unicom as 50th Comfone Key2roam Hub Roaming Member
2008 to today
- 2008 Membership in the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) positions Comfone to both access and influence the setting of WLAN roaming standards
- Membership in WiMAX Forum®
- Establishment of independent Clearing House providing Data and Financial Clearing services for mobile operators worldwide
- Awarded ‘Outstanding Business Partner’ by China Unicom during the GSMA Mobile Asia Congress
- 2009 100th live mobile network connected in January to Comfone Key2roam, making it the biggest live roaming hub in the world. Number of Key2roam partners continuing to rapidly increase
- Awarded certification as GSMA Roaming Hub provider
