GCS is a unique roaming enabling solution

Comfone GCS customers can rapidly increase their international roaming footprint, resulting in a corresponding growth in roaming revenue.

Widespread international roaming

Comfone's IRP (International Roaming Platform) offers operators the ability to continually increase the number of their international roaming partners without the need for continual investment. As additional networks connect to the IRP, the signalling required to roam with them is simply implemented in the platform.

A cost effective solution

By outsourcing to Comfone, operators free up internal resources which would otherwise be required for setting up roaming agreements. Only one agreement with Comfone is required to reach a multitude of roaming relations. The cost of the solution is quickly recovered through the additional revenue from international roaming and other subscriber services. Furthermore, by interfacing with an international SS7 network, worldwide signalling access is granted to operators as part of the service, including optional ITU/ANSI conversion.

Rapid implementation

Setting up bilateral roaming agreements can often take months to complete. By comparison, Comfone GCS can be operational within a number of weeks. Where the selected roaming partners are already connected to the platform, the interconnection can be carried in a matter of days for priority relations. Comfone's existing roaming relationships, service organisation and in-house experience make it possible to rapidly establish new roaming relations.

Comfone GCS offers a unique service which allows operators to rapidly increase the volume of their international roaming destinations.
